Where to stay and things to do

The running legend of Loch Ness is not the only wonderful sight we have to offer visitors, that’s why people come here all year-round.

We can promise you a whole range of picturesque lochs and scenic glens, stunning coastline and majestic mountain peaks – all within easy striking distance of Inverness.

Beyond the natural beauty, fresh air and clean waters, you can discover castles, battlefields, historic sites, and nature reserves, all safe in the knowledge that crime rates here are among the very lowest in the UK.

New Accommodation Booking Service

This year we are offering runners a new accommodation booking service.  You can choose from a range of 2, 3 and 4 star hotels, guest houses and self service apartments throughout Inverness; Fort Augustus and Drumnadrochit on Loch Ness as well as in the surrounding area.  Many are within easy walking distance of the Event Village in Inverness.
