Introduction
There are many reasons why our Baxters River Ness 5K Fun Run is so popular.
To begin with it is open to runners of all ages and abilities including wheelchair entrants. Whether you’re running for charity in fancy dress; with your entire family; in a group of mates or with your school or club – whatever your level of fitness, goals and aspirations, we guarantee you’ll finish this race with a smile on your face!
Following a flat route along the River Ness, the race finishes at the Event Village in Bught Park where the waiting crowds will cheer you over the finish line and towards your well deserved medal, T-shirt, goody bag and delicious hot soup.
Scenic, rewarding and a pleasurable way to take part – we’ll see you at the start line!

When does it start?
The 5K Fun Run starts at 10.00am on Sunday 30 September 2012 at Bught Park in the centre of Inverness.
