MARATHON ENTRY IS AVAILABLE for charity assured places via our nominated or associated charities, and places for club and overseas runners. Guaranteed marathon entry closed on 1 May. We're delighted to announce that entries are up again on this time last year.

A new Baxters Loch Ness Marathon finish-line offers potential for runners to achieve faster times for this year's event and a new finish arena will provide a better experience for everyone attending the Festival of Running on Sunday 3 October 2010. Read more here.

Have fun through fitness is the message from Baxters Loch Ness Marathon & Festival of Running as they invite all schools, youth clubs and disability groups to sign up for this year's Baxters River Ness 5K Fun Run taking place in Inverness on 3 October. The 5K Fun Run offers people of all ages and abilities an opportunity to be part of the north of Scotland's largest mass participation sporting event.
Teams taking part from schools, youth clubs and disability groups from the Highland area will receive reduced entry fees in addition to lots of post-event goodies.
